Frequently asked questions
Because our classes are small and materials are prepared in advance, tuition is not prorated for missed classes. If you need to miss a class, please let us know before class time. When possible, we’ll try to offer a make-up class, but availability is not guaranteed. Classes missed without notice are considered no-shows and cannot be made up or credited.
If you need to withdraw after a class has begun, unused classes may be issued as a studio credit, valid for 12 months. Studio credits can be used for future classes, workshops, camps, parties, or gift cards and are non-refundable.
If Spinning Out Pottery must cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a refund or studio credit.
Pottery is a process! Finished pieces require drying, glazing, and firing, which can take time. While we take great care with every piece, not all work survives the kiln — this is a natural part of ceramics and not grounds for a refund.
We love sharing the creativity that happens here! Occasionally, photos or videos may be taken during classes for promotional use. Let us know if you prefer not to be included.
By registering for a class, you agree to these policies and help us keep Spinning Out Pottery a welcoming, creative space for everyone.
Missed Classes & Refunds
Tuition is not prorated for missed classes. To be eligible for a make-up class, the studio must be notified prior to the scheduled class time. Make-up classes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Classes missed without notice are considered no-shows and are not eligible for make-up, refund, or credit.
Withdrawals after a class has begun may result in a studio credit for unused classes at the studio’s discretion. Studio credits are valid for 12 months, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
In the event Spinning Out Pottery cancels a class, participants may choose a refund or studio credit.
