Rock Hill, South Carolina— Nicki Degeneffe, owner of Spinning Out Pottery Studio, has been awarded a $700 grant by the Arts Council of York County for the 2022 fiscal year.
Support for this project is provided in part by the Arts Council of York County Small Grants Program, and by a generous award from the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina, and the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. The grant will allow Nicki Degeneffe to pay the fees for the festivals from October through December to sell her Pottery.
Her goal is to increase production, increase pottery sales, provide monthly art classes, and build a great art community in the Western part of York County. Her studio is in Sharon, South Carolina and she sells creations made by over 14 different local artisans. Everything is made locally!!! Local painters, potters, photographers, soap makers, chow chow makers, and more.
